11-8-00 I married my hubby and we have been like PB and J ever since... Actually we have been like that since we met on 8-26-98. We don't have anything planned, we are both working and odds are we won't even see each other, but I love him and he loves me so that is all that matters.
Today work was INSANE and it isn't even Christmas yet! I am so scared for Black Friday, maybe I won't be put on for that day, but I probably would retail is insane during the holidays, but I LOVE IT!

The girls raked some of the leaves and I took some cool pictures of them jumping in....so for you viewing pleasure here are a select few, ENJOY!!!

WOW it has been awhile...what has been going on?...lets see, Hubby was sick with a stomach thing, then got better then got sick only a few days later, only this time it was an URI and a pulled back! Halloween was filled with work, taking hubby to drs. picking up girls and going into work to help turn the store into a Christmas wonderland. Thank god for my wonderful friend/neighbors who took the girls out while I sat at the drs. Trick or treating here is actually done at a certain time, from 6-8pm whereas in NYC there is no time, it can be all day long. So there is only a small window of time for the kids to ToT. They had fun so that is all that matters.

Just been busy working and stuff, nothing worth mentioning :0)

That's all folks!

I had no work yesterday and since hubby is due to report to Illinois on the 25Th he was home too. So we are sitting on the couch minding our own business when the bell rings and it is the mailman with a letter that we need to sign for. So I signed it and hubby opened it (it was from the post office) it is letter telling us that he needs to report to work on 10-10 which we already knew and he got the extension hence the 25Th report date. Whatever, news we already knew, so we go back to sitting around when the phone rings around 4pm..it is his boss telling him that everything has been put on hold and he needs to report back to his old job here in Fort Wayne. I have to say that I am truly surprised that my husband hasn't lost his ever loving mind yet, this is the second time they have done this to him! So here we are staying put...for now.

Today is my birthday, a nice morning to sleep in since I had no work today either. Hubby gave me my gift days ago, a Cricut Expression, Your story (a book binding machine) and Cricut cartridges. Very nice indeed!

We have been on a movie kick, we went to see Pandorum, which we liked alot and Zombieland which was corny funny, but we would see it again.

So I have been reading, I picked up 13 Bullets by David Wellington awhile back and decided to get his other books...So I read 99 Coffins which I thought was good, then moved on to 23 Hours and couldn't figure out why DW would leave out vital information about the characters, THEN I discover that I missed a book! Vampire Zero...I was so darn mad, but I am still going to read it although I know what happens next. Until I either borrow it or get to the store to buy it for my collection I am still struggling through Darkly Dreaming Dexter..don't ask, I have no idea why I can't read it and enjoy it.

(SIGH) Still no word, hopefully they will give us a call on Monday to let us know what is going on about our impending move. I tell you, I am just sick!

Went to see Pandorum with Hubby, it was GOOD!

Nothing much going on.

Just found out from the Union Rep of the Post Office that we should hear the final word by Wednesday the latest...IF we are to leave we have to be in Illinois by 10-10 (which is my birthday also, not how I imagined spending it) Yes, I am bitter again...Wednesday can't get here fast enough!

In good news, I found out today that I am employee of the month AGAIN, WOOT!!! It is such a great feeling to hear that I am so darn good at my job, I keep telling myself to not get cocky about it, but it just feels so darn good! LOL, by the way did I mention that it is so good!

So I am reading Darkly Dreaming Dexter (I have yet to see the TV Show) I am having such a hard time with this book. I just don't know why I can't seem to get into it...I haven't even made it half way through. So I picked up 99 Coffins by David Wellington, the follow up to 13 Bullets. Maybe I will be able to get into DDD again but not at present.

My craftroom looks real nice, now I just have to hope I get to keep it, if not...well, what can I really say...SIGH!

I am addicted!!!! Help!!

Its official, this game is my new addiction. I love books, Internet, scrapping and scribbling! Finished reading Small Favor now reading Darkly Dreaming Dexter....reorganizing my scrapbook room, and awaiting word from the post office about our impending move.

Is this a Wolf spider? Way cool, but she moved, there was no food coming to the web.

Went to Barnes and Nobles today to get the last 2 books I need to read of the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher...Small Favor and Turn Coat. What kills me is that I am very anal when it comes to my books, I like for them to have the same style covers and to be the same height. For some strange reason Small Favor IS in paperback but taller then the ones before it, Turn Coat (I hadn't realized is fairly new) so it is still in Hard back. Doesn't come out in paperback until next year. I don't "crack" the spines of my books OR dog ear the pages, it just irritates me. I enjoy having my books look like new. I am also very picky about who I lend my books to, if I know you love reading as much as I do and you can return my book in a timely fashion, I am more then happy to lend you a book. Other than that you can forget it. So that is the end of my book rant.

At work today the phone rang, and I answered it, the lady on the other end said "Hi, I was just in there the other day and made a cat, when I got it home the stitches came undone" so I say, "That's okay just bring it back to us and we will be happy to fix it for free" THEN I hear this little girl saying into the phone, "Mommy, how come Fluffy had to die? Why did Fluffy die?" then the lady gets back on and says, "Sorry about that, okay thank you very much bye" I hung up the phone and laughed so hard that I had tears in my eyes and almost peed my pants! I think it was my manager busting my chops but until I speak to her I don't know for sure, but man it sure was funny. By the way, I work at a toy store so no real animals were hurt!

There are a few new movies coming out that I am really hoping to go see:
Where the wild things are
New Moon
Saw 6
Pandora
District 9

Beep, beep...That's all folks!
